In the fall, Macalester College typically hosts an invitational tournament.

Macalester College, located in scenic St. Paul, Minnesota, will host a four-round invitational in the fall. Typically, there is one round on Friday evening with registration taking place between 5-6 p.m. on the main floor of Olin-Rice. There are two rounds on Saturday and one round on Sunday morning. The awards ceremony is usually concluded by 1:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. The tournament will be limited to 50 teams. Registration fees for the tournament will be $150 per team and each team is required to provide a scoring judge. If you are not going to be able to bring a judge, I need to know that before Labor Day. Teams that do not provide scoring judges will be assessed an additional fee. To register for the tournament, contact Dick Lesicko, Director of Forensics, Macalester College via email or by phone at 651-696-6715.

In 2013 the Mac I invitational was held November 1st-3rd. Results are here.

In 2012, the Mac II invitational was held December 1st-2nd. Results are here.

Macalester would like to thank all those who volunteer their time to make these tournaments happen–from the volunteer judges who dedicate their weekends to giving the students critiques, to the alumni and other volunteers who work in the tab room.

If you are interested in helping judge a tournament next year, please see our judges page.
